Winter's Night

 "Winter's Night"

On a snowy morning I think how the years fly by.
The snowflakes come down at a quicker and quicker pace.
I don't want to slip along the way and get hurt.
I'll walk the numerous blocks to my home.
I watch snow fall from my room's windows.
This is a snowless winter unlike some of the one's we've seen.
Summertime will bring so much fun that we won't be aware of the passsing time.
It's like a vacation from the winter's freeze.
Temperature plays a big role in our lives' time-clocks.
What's hot now is cold later.
Like life.
In a winter's night, I pray to eat in warmth and light.
