Fools' Paradise

                                                          "Fools' Paradise"

Starfish glowing in the dark.
Fish translucently lighting up in different colors.

East is east, west is west, and never the twain shall meet.
Like the two lovers never did.
I am just rolling stones off a cliff.

God's revolution died last year.
They had a funeral for it in The Haight.
Ashes were burnt.

Profanity is man's worst enemy.
Be simple.
Nature is truly cruel.
Made luxurious for the fool.
Go find a school.

Wondering where you are tonight.
Under dark, clouded, skylight.
The moon and stars glisten all day and night.
We are just unaware of it and don't care for true beauty.

It's happening to you too.
Old life isn't new.
It's just done and through.
So watch it as it disappears with you!

In new skies.
By the morning at four A.M.
Every day you die a little more.
It's an opening to a new door.
Above the store

Which is where I visit my friends.
